Creating a culture where every designer became both a contributor and a teacher.
Challenge
As the team expanded, knowledge sharing depended on a small number of senior designers. Training was difficult to scale, and valuable expertise often remained isolated within individual contributors.
Solution
I introduced a designer-led learning program where team members regularly created and delivered practical workshops, demos, and knowledge-sharing sessions based on their areas of expertise.
Impact
Established a continuous learning culture
Increased knowledge sharing across the team
Developed presentation and leadership skills
Reduced dependency on a single trainer
Accelerated adoption of new tools and workflows

Building teachers instead of experts
Rather than positioning senior designers only as reviewers, I encouraged them to become educators. Each training gave designers the opportunity to strengthen communication skills while helping elevate the entire team.
Scaling knowledge
Training covered production workflows, Figma features, accessibility,
AI tools, design systems, and creative best practices.Sessions were recorded, documented, and expanded over time, creating a growing internal learning library.

Long-term impact
The program transformed learning into an ongoing team responsibility rather than a management task. Designers developed leadership experience through teaching while the organization benefited from faster knowledge sharing and continuous skill development.
